Monograms and Mimosas

There isn't a cuter bridal shower in the South than incorporating your new monogram and adding a few cocktails. My college roommates and sister threw me a "Monograms and Mimosas" shower in Atlanta this past weekend and I am fully stocked up on 'W's' now! I got gifts ranging from a new rug to a table runner to baking dishes and love each and every one.
Pom Poms are easy quick decorations that brighten up any room. This tutorial will explain step by step how to make them yourself.

Framing the invitation is always a quick and easy table decoration.

The mimosa bar included regular orange juice, pineapple oj and mango oj. Add fruit for garnish and you've got a delicious mimosa!

My wonderful hostesses!

Scrapbook paper cut into 1/4's tied with a ribbon make a beautiful banner and are easy to make.

The countdown is on, only a few more weeks until I become Mrs. Waters!

All you need is love

It is always a pleasure to plan an engagement party or a wedding shower. The soon-to-be bride and groom are so excited and grateful for your hard work. It doesn't have to be extravagant to be special. Personalized details and love go a long way and are sure to make your event a success.
Blushing Bridal Punch:
8 cups of frozen pink lemonade concentrate (mix with water as directed)
4 cups of diet lemon-lime soda
2 quarts raspberry sherbet

Place sherbet in a punch bowl and let it thaw until soft. Pour pink lemonade and lemon-lime soda over the sherbet and mix gently. Garnish with red and blue raspberries or limes!

Sugar Sweet Mini Fruit Pizzas:
1 tube of refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 large container of cool-whip (softened)
8 oz. package of cream cheese (softened)
4 cups of seasonal fruit

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease mini muffin tins, roll silver-dollar size pieces of cookie dough and place in bottom of muffin tin. Press slightly to form the mold of the tin. Bake for 6-8 minutes (don't over cook) and when it comes out of the oven, take a knife and "pop" the center of the cookie so they sink into a bowl shape. While the cookies are cooling, whip the softened cream cheese and cool whip until smooth. Place in piping bag and fill the bowl shaped area with the mixture. Decorate with fruit of your choice and serve. These are sure to be a crowd favorite!
